The Homer Farmers Market...

is a perfect place to find the things every small town Saturday heart desires. Anything from green thumbs

and crafty creators to fresh foods for the fridge or for immediacy. And as always, it's definitely the humans

that tend to make the experience especially beautiful.

Here are some photos from three separate summer trips

to the market. There is always so much to capture. It’s never a dull time.

June 24, 2023

The day was sunny with a high of 61°.

I used a Fuji X-H2 with a 56mm f/1.2.

August 19, 2023

It was partly cloudy, as was what felt like most of our summer here in Homer. These were captured with the

Fuji X-H2 with a 56mm f/1.2.

September 2, 2023

The weather is starting to turn.

51° and cloudy with sprinkles.

This will be one of the last markets of the year.

Taken with a Canon R5 and RF 28-70mm f/2

Thank you, market, for all the great goodness.

The refreshing moments; the hugged necks.

The encouraging convos; the sweetest gifts.

Until next year, my friends.
